       Legal Interpretations (Federal Reserve Board)
    "These letters consist of opinions of Board staff and the Board of Governors. Certain information has been deleted from some interpretations to protect confidential business information or personal privacy." Letters are on the following broad topics: Bank Holding Companies/Change in Control, Consumer Protection, Foreign Banks/International Banking, Federal Reserve Act, and Margin Requirements. Under each of these headings, letters are grouped by year of issuance.
       The Beige Book (Federal Reserve Board)
    "Informal survey by the Federal Reserve Banks of current economic conditions in their Districts."

    Business Week said this about the Beige Book: "If you want to know how the central bank sees the economy, the Beige Book is a good place to start.
